Rotary Club of Montrose sponsors Montrose Junior Soccer
It is with excitement that we announce that the Rotary Club of Montrose & District will kindly sponsor the junior soccer club on an annual basis. This year the sponsorship has enabled us to purchase a set of Samba goals for the Under 9 teams. Every year the oldest age group in the club will have the Best and Fairest trophy awarded in their Rotary Club’s honour. Thankyou to the members of the Rotary Club of Montrose & District.

A very special fundraising day for the ladies of Montrose Junior and Senior Soccer clubs, a shopping tour, and getting close to Christmas is the perfect time for us to do it too!
Manchester, homewares, kitchenware, cosmetics, books, shoes and everyone’s weakness - chocolate. Great discounts and bargins at all stores.
We are looking at getting a group together of over 40 people and getting provided with a “snack” meal for our lunches. At this stage we are looking at $35 per person – prices can and may change.

Monday Training For Under 11 Teams
Every Monday from 5- 6pm, extra training sessions will be held aimed at improving the players passing, kicking and dribbling skills. These sessions are not compulsory but we encourage players to attend at least two sessions per month. The first session was held last Monday and it is great to see so many ethusiastic players concentrating on passing and kicking the ball.
Another good way to improve your skills is kick the ball against a brick wall or get Dad or Mum out in the backyard and pass the ball to them. All it takes is 10-15 minutes a day!
2010 Player Registrations
Thanks to everyone who came and registered on Sunday at registration day, we need players who haven't registered to do so quickly as teams need to be submitted to the FFV in a few weeks and need to know who's playing.
